South African muni to install energy efficient street lights

The Elias Motsoaledi Local Municipality in the Limpopo province, South Africa, invites tenders for the supply and installation of energy efficient street lights.

It is estimated that bidders should have a CIDB contractor grading of 5EP.

4EP potentially emerging enterprises who satisfy criteria stated in the tender data may also submit tender offers.

Only bidders who meet the minimum CIDB grading required are eligible to submit tenders.

Tender documents

Documents may be collected during work hours after 09h00 from 22 October 2018.

A non-refundable tender deposit of R300 payable by cash is required on collection of the tender documents.

The cost of a printed copy of the tender document will be R300 and can be collected at the same address as above at the cashiers after showing the interest.

A compulsory clarification meeting with representatives of the employer will take place at Municipal Workshop / Fleet Centre Groblersdal on 29 October 2018, starting at 10h00.

The closing time for receipt of tenders is 10h00 on 05 November 2018.
