POLL: Is Eskom’s winter plan to keep the lights on workable?

Eskom’s winter plan has been publicised, but are you convinced that these measures will see you through the winter months?

According to the minister of public enterprises and Eskom’s chairman the plan is to get more coal-fired generation capacity online, to limit the rotational loadshedding to Stage 1 during winter, and encourage public energy saving initiatives.

Appealing to households to reduce their electricity demand, Eskom’s new slogan puts it into perspective: “Less is more − Live Lightly!”
