In South Africa, German global heat tracing systems company Eltherm has confirmed its commitment to the South African and African markets with the establishment of a local subsidiary in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Eltherm SA will service many specialist industries particularly EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction), power generation and renewable energy, including concentrated solar power, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

Expanding beyond S.Africa

By expanding its commitment to the African market, the heat tracing company has entered into a partnership with the Asani Group holdings company, which according to Eltherm SA will develop its business into Africa and also form part of its daily operations.

Peter Stone, managing director of Eltherm SA, said: “By establishing a dedicated South African presence, we are solidifying our relationships with our long-standing partners as well as opening new doors that will expose both Eltherm and our customers to a wealth of new business opportunities in the marketplaces we serve.”

Eltherm does comprehensive manufacturing operations and retains its core competency as an engineering design company, the company said in a statement.

Eltherm SA will mirror these functions and provide German technology, backed by engineering expertise that offers design, development and implementation of customised trace heating in the form of complete systems to suit the individual customer project and implementation needs.
