Power management company Eaton South Africa will be exhibiting its power distribution and power quality solutions that are more reliable, efficient, safe and sustainable at the 2019 AMEU Convention, taking place from 13 – 16 October at the Cape Town International Convention Centre.
The Association of Municipal Electricity Utilities (AMEU) convention is an association of municipal electricity distributors as well as national, parastatal, commercial, academic and other organisations that have a direct interest in the electricity supply in Southern Africa. The theme this year is Building the Power Utility of the Future, Today.
“Today’s utilities are under extreme pressure to improve reliability, drive operational efficiencies and adopt more renewable energy sources,” said Marcel Buckner, the ESS business development manager for Eaton Power Division.
“Eaton’s participation at this year’s convention gives us the opportunity to showcase our range of products and solutions that solve the toughest power management challenges,” stated Buckner.
He added: “The energy industry is brimming with innovation in so many areas, with massive developments in harnessing renewable energy and maximising the efficiency of power generation plants. Taking simple but smart measures to reduce their impact on the environment makes more than just good business sense – it’s the only way that climate change can be slowed, never mind reversed.”
Eaton provides solutions that span the entire electrical power system with the backing of a global footprint, providing a wide range of solutions that fit customer needs.
The Eaton team will be available throughout the convention at Stand 49 and 52.
