In Senegal, the Directorate General of Customs under the Ministry of Economics, Finance and Plan solicits closed bids from eligible candidates meeting the qualifications required for the supply of switches, routers and cables, under three separate lots.
Lot 1: Supply of switches;
Lot 2: Provision of routers;
Lot 3: Supply of cables (cords).
The award of the contract will be conducted by open invitation to tender as defined in the Code des Marches Publics, and open to all eligible candidates.
Interested candidates can obtain information from the Directorate of Customs Information Systems (DSID), located at the Bloc des Madeleines, boulevard de la Republique X André Peytavin, with Mr Modou Maty NIANG, firstname.lastname@example.org every working day from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and take note of the tender documents at the address mentioned above.
Qualification requirements are:
Financial capacity – Provide certified financial statements for the last three fiscal years (2014,2015 and 2016) that provide a sound financial basis.
Technical capacity and experience – the interested bidder must prove, with supporting documentation, that they meet the following experience requirements:
Have achieved, at least, two contracts of a similar nature during the last five years; the service certificates issued, issued by the beneficiary services, must be attached.
Arrange, for each lot, the following personnel:
- One Network and telecom engineer having achieved, at least, a similar market in the last five years;
- One CNNP certified having achieved, at least, a similar market during the last five years;
- One certified CCSP having achieved, at least, a similar market during the last five years.
Interested candidates can obtain a complete tender dossier against the payment of a non-refundable sum of FCFA 30,000 ($53), by sending a written request addressed to the Director of Customs Information Systems at the address mentioned below: IT systems, enclosure of the Bloc des Madeleines, from the Procurement Officer, from 08:00 to 17:00.
Tenders must include a tender guarantee of FCFA 4,000,000 ($7,057) valid for a period of 28 days after the expiry date of the offers.
Only tender guarantees issued by a financial institution approved by the Ministry of the Economy and Finance will be accepted.
