Seventeen CEM's and Six CMVP's were awarded the prestigious qualification on 21 May 2008 at Browns on Rivonia Restaurant, Johannesburg.

This award ceremony is held twice annually and allows the new CEM's and CMVP's to network with professionals who already have their qualification. It also allows for synergy between major role-players in the field of energy.
The CEM and CMVP qualification allow these professionals to be recognised for their expertise and experience in the dual field of Energy and Engineering in countries around the world such at the United State, India, Africa and numerous others.
